Challenges Facing the Bermudian Jewish Community
Some of our challenges include meeting the needs of our diverse membership, which is made up of Sephardim and Askenazim who are Orthodox, Conservative, and Reform and come from 15 different countries. A few families keep kosher and have made arrangements to have kosher products brought to Bermuda. Bringing up children in a country where Christian prayers are said in both the public and most private schools has been another challenge for us.
